26 Weeks: We are officially 26 weeks today, 10 to go and for those who can't count that means next week we are into the single digits of Bee's impending arrival. Speaking of Bee, have I mentioned how much we love our high risk OB? Hes truly is the best!!!! We have 5 appointments (well 4 now) next Wednesday (long day at the hospital) originally we had our Dr app in the morning but they could not get me into ultrasound until 2. Oh and can I mention just how sad I am that I had to call and cancel the pre-admit appointment because my ultrasound is at the same time...DARN (that is meant to be said in the MOST sarcastic way) I'm actually elated because I was not ready. I was going to call and reschedule anyways but now its even better. Gives me a few more weeks to think about things and talk to our doctor and pray about a decision. I really think it will be the day before 36 weeks that we decide how Bee will arrive but at least now we have some time and can do this when we feel is right for us.
Any who, his clinic ends at 2 so his secretary said we'd have to have the ultrasound and then he'd call if anything was wrong but no, our Dr is awesome, he knew that would not fly with me so he said to come by when we were done and he'd stay late for us. Seriously, he's awesome!!!! He totally gets it. He knows I need that reassurance, he knows I need that confirmation and he's totally willing to wait for us to make sure I leave feeling okay (unless something is wrong in which case he'd want us to know right away) I am curious as to Bee's growth because last time little one was starting to fall a few days behind (which I hope has not grown even more or things are going to get more interesting) But we will take whatever comes our way. I've really been trying to eat to help Bee out but I cannot for the life of me eat very much. It's like most of the time I have no appetite and eating makes me gaggy, though last night that was not the case lol.
I had a wonderful evening out at the Purse Party for Bereaved Families with two awesome ladies, a sexy husband and I scored a purse and scarf and a raffle prize for a cooking store. The best part was the insane amount of delicious, continuous food. It was SO good! I just kept eating and then I felt sick..opps. I know Bee really enjoyed it and since yesterday (as of this morning) I had gained two lbs lol....I'm sure it will grow with a wedding tomorrow and one next weekend as well.
We have a busy day ahead, I decided a trip to Ikea was necessary since we're going to be out that way anyways then off to Stephen's Nana's to get ready and then to the wedding and home! Church on Sunday and one of the last few laundry Mat days (tear)
And on that note since my husband kept me out late last night (11:30) I am going to go crash as another busy day is going to wipe this tired mama out!
